We are seeking a Senior Test Manager with a proven track record in managing projects focused on ERP for our client within the energy sector.

Background 
In 2022, our client utilized an invoice processing solution, successfully handling a total of 240,000 external supplier invoices.

The existing solution for invoice processing has been continuously developed over several years. And has been adapted to and scaled to meet new requirements driven by the customers expansion to new markets and new countries. They have decided to redevelop its current invoice processing solution with new and improved user interface.

In this context, we are looking to strengthen our project team with an experienced consultant who will take over the role of the test manager. The test manager will be responsible for developing the test strategy, planning, and managing technical and functional testing of the invoice processing solution. 

Assignment 
The test manager will report to the Project Manager for the implementation project for the Invoice processing – workflow and approval app project. Main responsibilities will include the following: 

• Overall responsible for the test planning and QA activities for the solution
• Define criteria and test cases for functional and technical testing 
• Facilitate and prepare for automated testing
• Lead and orchestrate the user acceptance testing activities before the launch 
• Coordinate activities towards the software vendor and communicate test results 
• Take an active role in project meetings, stand-ups, and stakeholder discussions to contribute to the project success

Key competencies and capabilities 

• 3-5- years of experience as a test manager, ideally gained through previous projects ERP focus   
• Domain knowledge within finance and/or logistics process & systems
• Strong analytical skills and courageous to point out problem areas 
• Ability to document and communicate clearly and effectively at all levels 

Other capabilities:  

• Fluency in English, both verbal and writing 
• Collaborative style of working to engage stakeholders and proactively manage activities 
• Experience from international projects and work culture is an advantage  
• Recognise and appreciate the value of good documentation
